Success rarely finds people…..people have to find success! It's no accident when you set attainable goals and work your butt off to achieve them, that you feel great about it! You should, after all, because you earned it! The same goes for your plan to get in shape, or to improve your overall health. Make a plan, set attainable goals, and most importantly….work your butt off to get where you want to be!
Part of those goals might be to plan your diet choices, avoid pitfall eating times like at bedtime, or senseless snacking as you graze around your home or office. Other ways to map out your path to success id to set aside time to exercise. make your self accountable to a friend, a trainer, and most notably to yourself. Sign up for a class, make plans to follow through with it. Decide you are going to do 50 jumping jacks every time a commercial break happens during your favorite evening show, and follow through. You will feel invigorated by the accomplishment once you complete that step in your plan. In the history of the world, I am not sure anyone has ever exercised, got their butts in gear, and then said, "Man, I wish I would have just sat on my ass all day instead of doing that!" Exercise, no matter the intensity, stimulates blood flow, releases endorphins- those "feel good" hormones your brain loves so much, and improves your body's ability to burn calories.
So plan your journey; map out the path you can take at your present level of fitness, and know full-well this fact- the most important step you take is the FIRST one down that path! It's time to commit. It's time to inspire a friend or two. It's time to allow yourself to evolve.
